At CRRS, we understand that transparency in pricing is essential for our customers. With conservatory roof replacements being a relatively new and emerging market, the difference in pricing from company to company can be alarming.
Speaking to our customers, we often hear of quotes that are 3, sometimes 4 times as much as what we can complete the project for. That is usually from larger, nationwide companies with extremely high running costs and astronomical profit margins.
CRRS are a small, local company that offer the exact same service for a fraction of the price. How do we do it? Simply by being honest and fair.
For example. If you have a 3mx4m Edwardian and we tell you it is going to cost £15,000 to replace. You only have to do the basic math to realise that you are not too far off extension money and that it is probably not worth the cost.
On the flip side, if I told you that for the same conservatory, same size, same shape, it will cost £450m2. So 3x4 =12. 12x450=5400. You can effectively get a 3mx4m comfortable and usable extension on the back of your house for £5400 with minimal mess and interruption, you are very likely going to at least consider it. This is our business model. No hidden fees, no silly quotes. Just a quality job for a fair price. We cant say fairer than that.
Obviously each project is quoted on merit and the project specifics and complexities are taken into account when doing so, but we find that most projects land between the £450-£500 m2.
Please note that building control fees are usually around £500 per project and we charge roughly £400 per small, roof window.
So taking that example above, but adding a roof window to the front elevation and including building control fees, you would be looking at a final cost as follows:
Roof £5400
Building Control fees £500
Roof light £400
Total = £6300
At CRRS, we are so confident in our pricing, that we will beat any like-for-like quote by £500. I mean, where else can you get what is effectively a 3mx4m extension that looks great, performs amazingly, is quick, clean and non-intrusive to install and very low maintenance?
